Thanksgiving Day 2006

As previously mentioned, Thanksgiving in America means Football, Food and Family... This year, Annmarie and I are enjoying two out of three of the above. As I write, the Dallas Cowboys are beating the Tamp Bay Buccaneers in the Texas Stadium. there is the smell of food preparation in the air, but instead of Turkey (The traditional dish in the States, this time of year) The dish being prepared in this household is Yorkshire Pudding filled with boiled Potato's, Rainbow Carrots and fried celery and onions with Dill. All smothered with thick Veggie gravy and a side helping of fake Chicken with Artichoke. In a nut shell..... its bloody marvelous.

Fake chicken? Or fake chicken and artichokes? The dish was plastic? Decorative? Surely it should have been a fake turkey (with real artichokes?

To be eaten watching the fake Cowboys trample the fake Buccaneers? Way to go, Tampa!!
